Initially we were warmly welcomed and shown to a table downstairs, despite it being a busy easter weekend. The waitress was attentive, although very pushy for us to spend money - she was insisting we had a drink other than tap water, and to get starters as the wait for mains was "25 minutes". We gave in, and ordered starters. The starter portions were large and very nice. We then had to wait 40 minutes for our main. I ordered the mussels, which were tasty, but was not filling as it came only with a small side of chips. For almost £11, it was slightly on the pricey side. The staff became increasingly inattentive to our table, and the lady taking our payments was quite rude to us.
Overall, nice food if slightly pricey, although the speed and manner of service left much to desire.
