- Ameya Vaidyanathan Review added: 2018.07.18★ ★ ★ ★ ★I was looking to buck the trend a little bit and wanted a pair of glasses that stood out, which is when I found out about Tom Davies Bespoke Opticians. The design idea I had in mind seemed a bit ambitious, but I was pleasantly surprised when the stylist told me that what I wanted could be produced without a hitch! I was then asked to try on a variety of different frames to find the one would be used as the base for my design, and was given advice on which one best suited my features- as ‘daring’ as my design was, I was at least given the confidence that it was going to be made around a pair of glasses that someone else thought I looked good in! As if that wasn’t enough, various measurements of my face were then taken so that my glasses would fit me perfectly. All of this might seem like a laborious process, but I would actually say that the thing that really sets Tom Davies apart from the rest is the in-store experience. All of the staff at knightsbridge made me feel at home right away, and made creating my dream pair of glasses really enjoyable- they leave no stone unturned in constructing glasses that are customisable to the tee, and that same philosophy certainly shows in their great hospitality. I can’t wait for my next visit!
