- Jason Singleton Review added: 2018.07.12★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Please remember that if renting a car in London, they have a congestion charge areas. Due to this location, you will most likely get the penalty. A quick search showed the vehicle I rented was ticketed for the same offense just before I rented the vehicle. According to london transport, you normally should pay for this the day before. Obviously, you can’t. Remember to pay before you leave that lot. The staff will not tell you about it either. Thrifty charges £42 for their fee the penalty for not paying is £65. It’s sad that companies like thrifty use this as a profit tool.
