I was greeted by Ruth who I later learned was the Queen of Crouch End. She could not have been more friendly and helpful. Later I met Alan who has an excellent eye for men's fashion knowing exactly what is on trend today as well as style and quality. He is always spot on which is affirmed by the number of compliments that I receive. Since then I have returned to the States and I have yet to find a shop like The Tannery anywhere. People are always enquiring where I shop for my clothes. If only there was a New York store!!
