    Andrew Wilshere Review added: 2018.06.01
I was a patient at this surgery for 3 years but in the end had to give up and start using online GPs instead. Problems I encountered during my time registered included:

    • Dirty consulting rooms (I witnessed the same smear of who-knows-what on the floor at appointments several weeks apart)
    • Unprofessional GP (lack of greeting, lack of eye contact, failure to actually conduct any examinations, just asking questions)
    • Incorrect clinical advice (advised to take decongestants for chronic sinusitis)
    • Inability to process repeat prescription (the request was lost or not processed on more than one occasion, at one point causing me to go into discontinuation symptoms for a medication even though I had requested the prescription with 2 weeks to spare)
    • Receptionists totally lacking in compassion (I witnessed someone being turned away from an urgent appointment because they were 5 minutes late, even though the person had called ahead 45 minutes earlier and explained they were held up due to having to travel from their job **in an NHS hospital**)
    • Failure to respond to a formal complaint (while we're at it, Newham CCG also failed to respond to notifications about how bad this practice is)

It is frankly a scandal that surgeries like this are allowed to operate, and that the CQC inspection regime is so toothless that they can't enforce any improvement measures.
