- Tess Robinson Review added: 2018.07.10★ ★ ★ ★ ☆Star Lane Medical Centre make it very clear the kind of appointments they can take. They have posters explaining that they won't treat you for common colds, they can't always prescribe anti-biotics and that you should only make appointments for serious medical issues. GP appointments are only allowed to be 10 minutes long. If you keep all of these things in mind, Star Lane provide great care. Don't go to a GP with a list of things, or ask to book a double appointment. Dr Vora is always very pleasant, professional and understanding and communicates clear action points and resolutions in my appointments with him. You can book appointments online very easily and you can check in using the touch screens so that you don't have to wait in line or spend ages on hold to the reception team (who I have found to actually be terrible at times).
