- Ivett Papista Review added: 2018.08.30★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Mattress is comfy, arrived as expected. The chemical smell others have spoken about is still strong after a month. Ordered the bed frame, delivery date set 6 weeks from date of purchase. Thought, surely I can spend a couple of weeks sleeping on the floor (old bed disposed of as switched to a bigger EU size). Then, just a couple of days before the delivery was due, I was told that I have to wait another 8-12 weeks due to too many orders received over Christmas.
UPDATE: They have now cancelled the order of the bed frame altogether. This is just another start up company that cannot handle the market. I would advise everyone to stay away and rather purchase from professionals.
UPDATE 2: I have now spent over 4 months sleeping on the floor thanks to the above. I've had to search for a UK company that will custom make a bed frame to fit the EU size mattress simba sold me and failed to deliver on the matching frame. At a huge price. Simba offered me to spend £75 on their site, which of course I'm not keen on plus sadly I purchased one of their more compelling products (2 pillows) at the time of the mattress and bed order. Also they promised me a £20 amazon voucher which never came.
Having purchased their pillow, I can safely say they are the worst I've ever experienced. They are hard to the point that they give me a headache by the morning as well as a neck ache due to the lack of flexibility. Plus in the sides of the pillow there is thick stitching which I would nearly call piping and this makes the edges and corners of the pillow unusable. Most unhelpful when one likes making use of the entire pillow rather than sleep in the dead centre of the pillow. I would also say that their mattress cover is not worth the price, so unless it comes free with the order, like mine did, I'd advise against it. Also the mattress is way more comfy without one.
To note, the mattress is still great and super comfy after about 5-6 months. It is true that it gets hot. Not a problem for me as I'm anyways cold but somewhat uncomfortable for my husband who is usually a normal temperature. However the rest has simply been a horrible and costly experience for me. Therefore I simply can not recommend this company.
