However, I found the policy of issuing only one key per apartment to be extremely inconvenient and illogical. With a 2-BR unit and a 3-BR unit (we had one of each), expected occupancy is 4 to 6 adults in the unit. There is no reception and no way of accessing the apartment unless the one person who has the key comes back to open the apartment for anyone else who wants to return. And this is London, not some remote town spread across a few hundred meters! We reminded the staff (only present in working hours) to check about spare keys a number of times but no luck. So you just have to all go out together and come back together. Or be ready to wait nearby if you happen to return early.
At least twice someone from our group had to take 30-minute train rides just to pick up the key before coming back to the apartment. And it costs what - a 100 $ to get a second set of keys made? They could have at least a key per bedroom. And in this day and age, would it be too much to expect someone in London to have heard of Electronic Smart locks? Overall extremely irritating policy on keys (and management who did not listen or did not care) made this a place I hope I never have to stay at again.
