Very meaty! We had 2 vegans and 2
vegetarians on our table and we found it hard to find noodles or tofu without meat, the staff were quite helpful with this, but this seemed quite old fashioned as most restaurants now have a vegan menu. The food came out really quick, maybe too quick, veggie spring rolls came out without dipping sauce, i had to ask for this, they made me feel that this was a strange request! There is a discretionary WHOPPING 12% service charge, we refused to pay this and paid them 7%, they were not so friendly after this! The food and service was ok, not worth the price and the service charge!

I suggested to my friends for us to visit this place for dinner on a Wednesday evening in February. As we walked in we were unwelcomingly greeted at the door by an obnoxious little lady barking questions at us, abruptly asking for our car registration but we just laughed it off, then sat down and got immediately given a menu by a different unfriendly person and then brought drinks and starters by two different waiters who were inconsiderate about everything in terms of seating arrangements. We noticed many waiters for such a few occupied tables and most of whom walked around a lot between tables, sneering at seated customers and chucking amongst one another around tables. While gobsmacked and observing carefully, at one point it seemed to us that waiters were placing bets on things, although admittedly, this may sound far-fetched.

The drinks we had were good, the starters were so-so according to everyone in my group and also the mains was mostly bland, poorly presented and didn’t taste as though it could pass for authentic Chinese food at all (think Soho and traditional oriental restaurants in UK and scattered throughout Europe)...

At the end were just laughed it off at the ridiculousness of the place - particularly the staff who acted as though they were doing us a favour being there. A “discretionary” charge was slapped on to the final bill. We paid and none of us waited for change because one of the ladies felt so disgusted that she literally wanted to get out as quickly as.

Would recommend zero stars if we could.
