I was on my own and didn't book but I was happy to sit at the bar...and turn round occasionally to catch the spectacular view. The food and service (professional and cheerful) and set menu price were all first class. A previous reviewer (Alex I think) mentioned that he didn't feel comfortable because of the upper middle class female clientele. Bit of inverted-snobbery going on there, Alex?; bigotry can take all forms, Alex.
That said I did feel quite young; I'm nearly 57!
But who cares? It's a great place - Steve Brookman Review added: 2018.03.15★ ★ ★ ★ ★Greta location above the national portrait gallery, fab views across the roof tops around Trafalgar square. Excellent modern European food at not unreasonable prices for London. Nice relaxed dining experience with excellent service.
