- Robert Kern Review added: 2018.11.03★ ★ ★ ★ ★In the early 1990s I visited the shop searching for materials about my grandfather, Robert Leonard, who starred in a number of productions on the West End in the first part of the 20th century. Work and other issues kept me from London until 2003. When I walked into Pleasures of Past Times, David smiled and said "Welcome back Mr. Kern. I've collected a number of items you might like." I bought it all and my father was ecstatic to relive his father's theatrical triumphs in the last years of his life. Great shop, warm, attentive and caring service. Will visit again soon, although I probably have everything pertaining to Robert Leonard, if only to say hello and thanks.
