Make sure you voice record all the conversation. They said there is a 2 quotations. First quotation is £60/hr min 2hrs booking. Second quotation if is over 2hrs the fixed price will be £165. So therefore, we will not be paying £180 if we used 3hrs also we are told that We will pay whichever is lower.
We moved our stuffs to our destination. There comes a call. Demanding us to pay hourly rates. Their reasons are, what I listed down in the quotation of stuffs is less than the actual day. I had told them I am still packing and I m still unsure the exact amount of boxes and stuffs to be uploaded on actual day.
So based on what they said on actual day there are a lot of stuffs. We are forced to pay hourly rates which we think that doesn't make any sense at all, since we have the fixed price.
Since when mover move stuffs need to base on how many items to move?
In total we spend, 3hrs 30mins to move the stuffs. And me paid more than the agreed quotation.
