The shop assistant, Omar, had delivered an overall shocking service. We expected to be asked the theme and colour of the wedding to get some interest and ideas flowing but instead, he was a typical hard salesman. He pulled out suits and made decisions for the group without allowing them to browse or try on different styles and colours due to his "30+ years of experience in wedding suits". He also kept mentioning 'deals' and additional suits and prices.
We were not in the store for any longer than 10 minutes and he had pushed us to decide whether we wanted to hire or buy, and to set up an account in stores... you can imagine that we hadn't even decided on a suit yet!
When I had challenged him on this, he told me to not be "angry" which I don't think it was appropriate to say to a customer just because he was being challenged as to why a decision had to be made at that point of time when the groom's group haven't decided on a suit they liked.
He wouldn't even measure the group (only 3 men including the groom - not much to ask on a quiet Saturday morning), and only wanted to focus on my partner... despite that he was reluctant to get the rest of the suit for my partner to try on.
I don't remember Moss Bros being so hard sales that they forgot the basics of customer service. Completely ruined the groom's group first time experience of suit fitting, when it should have been lighthearted and fun... We will not be returning to this branch if this is the level of customer service. - alfatih khalifa Review added: 2018.01.10★ ★ ★ ☆ ☆Not a bad tailoring service but over priced and terribly bad service in the shop it feels like they are running Thier own business and less of a professional job t say the least plus i have received my full 3 piece wedding suit nearly 9 weeks later than expected terrible
