The John O’Goat is my fave from the main menu, but the specials are consistently a winner. I’m not vegetarian but the veggie pizzas are always my faves. They frequently use this type of Italian broccoli that I can never remember the name of but they sauté it before putting on the pizza so you don’t get that “warmed up but not cooked” thing so common on veggie pizza.
You generally have to book on weekends but we often get a walk-in table if we go either very early or towards the end of the night. And they’re lovely people too. Possibly the best thing to happen to Queens Road for evenings out (along with Beer Rebellion).
