- Dane Scott Review added: 2018.05.14★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Plumber came out to fix leaking toilet. Needed a part and went to get it from local shop 6 minute drive away. Took an hour.
Eventually persuaded company to charge me for less than this amount of time, but entailed 15 mins on phone before they capitulated.
6 weeks later and the problem is back (dripping to floor below) on a Saturday. No problem as they have a six month guarantee on their work and 24/7 callouts, the two reasons I went with them in the first place. However, nobody available to come and fix all weekend, "these things happen" I was told.
Called another company as unable to go 36 hours with water turned off, given I have a family. It turns out the valve that was fitted didn't by Toropro have a washer on it. £200 from another company to fix their basic mistake, which should have been covered under their guarantee.
Speaking to my card company about a refund and will not use again. - Polonaise girl Review added: 2018.01.19★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆So don't give those guys your card details as a 'security' . They will charge it without a further a do without any notice. They also totally overestimate the time spent on site and material costs. So the final quote is given after the work completion and payment taken the next day. You may as well write a blank cheque.
- Maria Gill Review added: 2017.12.21★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆First they cancelled on the day even though I booked a week in advance then when they finally showed up 4 days later to fix the shower the same problem appeared a week later. In the meantime they had debited my card even though on the phone they explained they only need it to book the job and I will be given the option of how to pay after completion. Then they sent me an email offering discount for a good review.
