We did agree to purchase his laptop at the price of £450 considering everything is O.K with the laptop. He agreed and informed us there is nothing wrong with it. When purchasing laptops from customers, we must diagnose and check that everything is fully functional and that there are no hardware faults, and cannot just take the customers word for it, as we are a business and cannot sell on faulty laptops. After opening the laptop (MacBook Pro 13 inch, Late 2013), we realised that the battery was bulging, meaning it was faulty and the condition would worsen over time. As we are a business and cannot sell faulty laptops to our customers, we refused to pay the asking price of £450, which we had initially agreed on. We offered him a slightly lowered price of £400, after taking everything into consideration, including the faulty battery. He refused and left us a negative review, when we did nothing wrong. We are a legitimate and genuine business with no intention to waste our own time, especially our customers.
