Hilds Review added: 2018.01.12★ ★ ☆ ☆ ☆It pains me a bit to write this review...I'm a long-time fan of this salon, but my most recent experience was probably the worst customer service experience I've ever had in my life. Definitely my worst beauty treatment experience! I rarely write reviews and usually only positive, but really feel like I need to say something.
The new lashes technician, Demi, was just absolutely horrible to me. When I first came in, she didn't acknowledge me really, no eye contact and I was confused as it was immediately awkward, as if she didn't want anything to do with me. She seemed utterly miserable to be doing my lashes, as if I had personally offended her (I'd never met her!). Her entire demeanor was so negative and strange that I almost got up and left at several points. She hardly said one word, even when I tried asking a question or saying something. Her energy and body language were really belligerent and at one point I had a question, she looked like she couldn't even pull it together enough to respond to me, and just went and got the director without a word to me directly. It was completely bizarre.
Look, I've had days where I have a hard time hiding my emotions to customers but this was a whole 'nother level. I'm still left wondering if she somehow thought I was someone else that she hates or something, very confusing.
Needless to say I would never book with this technician again, and am considering not booking with the London Dolls again at all as I would feel awkward being in the studio at the same time as this person. The extra star is because the other technicians are perfectly friendly and do a great job at the lashes. And the actual lashes this new technician did were to a good standard, but not worth the trauma of being treated by her!
