Sat down but was not offered any drink or anything despite the next guy being offered a drink. The guy cutting my hair couldn't speak much English and had to get the guy next to him to translate which was not communicated properly as the guy translating was cutting hair himself.
The cut was very poor, almost shocking. Wasn't asked about the back and whether I like it tapered, or my sideburns etc (presumably lack of English). But to make it worse, he never once made my hair wet before cutting it. He just went into it as if it was a bush. When he 'styled' my hair, he again didn't make it wet, nor did he blowdry it. End result? The hair wasn't directed in any one place meaning that it wasn't styled properly. I said to add water. He literally sprayed the fringe and tried to blowdry it but it wasn't working at this point. He then slapped on a tub of super wet gel without my permission.
Won't be back again (I've been a few times). Some of the barbers in Legends are experienced and good cutters but like with any business - poor service = lose your customer. But here's the thing, I didn't get the sense that they even cared about service. They didn't even try. I feel they rely purely on their location to attract people and pay no attention to the service. Very much volume and quantity over quality and care.
