- Anthony Harriott Review added: 2018.09.12★ ★ ★ ★ ★I had the pleasure of passing through,on the second week of opening,and may I say the store to me should not be called a supermarket, but a delicatessen, with a difference.The owners decided to pay homage to their history,with a memorial of the past ,depicting of how they where ,around fifty years ago,which still lingers on in their heart.
The reason why I brought that up was as a photographer,it interested me most of all.Then out of nowhere I smelt these beautiful pungent smells,I had to call the shop owner to explain what I was smelling,and to my delight above the photos was a collection of cured meats,two of which I decided to purchase,and as usual,someone like myself whose a foodie.I asked the gentleman,how to prepare it,and since I will be going to the lake district,will it be appropriate to take it with me,and possible use it in some stir fries,for his response you'll need to go to the photo,and read the caption.I was most fortunate to pick a time(before 12 midday),, that he wasn't busy,and may I say I couldnt of meet a nicer person,Not being a Romanian,like myself should not stop you,if you like French style,or Italian style cured meats,then this is a place for you to try.
