  The salons itself and the lady who did my hair were lovely initially. However, I got a spiral perm done here, which looked great when it was first taken out, but by the time I got home only the bottom half of my hair was still curly; with some strands at the front and right at the back still straight. I went back 2 week later, and was brushed off with excuses that it was my hair’s fault and that it was because it was my first perm etc. This was never advised to me before the treatment and my money being taken from me though? But the salon was busy, and I’m not great at complaining, so just left to go work. I have recently spoken to another hair dresser who suggests that in fact either the 1st solution wasn’t rinsed out fully, or the 2nd one wasn’t applied properly; and my hair should still be fully curly with only a few inches of growth. Instead I’ve spent the last 3 months with bad hair, that looks like it’s been done over a year ago. And for the price I paid I expected to have fully curly hair, not the half half mess I have now. You wouldn’t go in for an expensive colour treatment and expect it to be faded out by the time you get home. I followed all the instructions and didn’t touch my hair for 3 days after the perm, in hopes it would be curly after the first wash. I style my hair with products and a defuser on a cold heat setting, and still it’s never been fully curly. And as you can see in the images the parts of my hair are still the exact same curl, so my hair did take- where it was done properly. Went back again to the salon after speaking to the other hairdresser, and was trying to resolve it nicely, but got met with aggression and the hair dresser would not admit that it could of not been done correctly, and at no point has ever tried to work with my disappointment. Not impressed at all. I’m sure they are fined for normal hair cuts (even though I asked for loads of layers so my hair didn’t look like a triangle when she was cutting it, and she didn’t do that right either) and colouring. But would not advise to get a spiral perm here.
