- Christopher Josiffe Review added: 2018.10.04★ ★ ★ ★ ★I've been going to Jaaneman for several years now, and the quality of the food never disappoints, freshly made on the premises with all natural, all vegetarian ingredients. Fantastic barfi in a wide variety of flavours, crispy sweet jalabi, gajjar halwa and gulab jamoon, all your favourites - plus several other sweets that I didn't recognize - but the lovely owners are very friendly and happy to let customers try before they buy.
In addition to the sweet selection, there's a range of super savoury snacks - the samosas are amazing, often freshly made while you wait. And a whole array of dried 'Bombay mix' gathia type mix snacks...
In short, I can't recommend Jaaneman highly enough - it's a real pearl in an otherwise unexciting row of shops. Do yourself a favour, get down there and see for yourself.
