Been using this surgery my whole life, but have frequented it more recently due to a drug addiction. The first doctor I saw was lovely, she was a junior doctor called Doctor Foley and honestly did so much to help me for the first 2 weeks. However for some reason, they then made me see Dr Bull who is honestly the rudest and most patronizing and unsympathetic person I have met in my life. She prescribed me TRIPLE the amount that the first doctor did on the basis that she was "slowly stabilizing" me. I only get to see her for 5 minutes each month, where she made me go down 5mg each month. Today I saw Dr Pembakian, he was a little less patronizing however he prescribed me again a large amount. I went to the pharmacy where they realised that it was far too much and that it was going to kill me slowly ( I am 20 years old ). The older doctors here have no idea when it comes to dealing with recent epidemics of addiction, they would rather just give you large amounts of the drug you are addicted to so you shut up and don't book another appointment or ask for more help from them. I am back at square 1 now with my addiction, and the doctors who have dealt with me (Bull and Pembakian) have been nothing but patronising, especially Dr Bull who I found to be one of the rudest and coldest persons I have ever come across.

I wanted to make a personal note of great thanks to Dr Sagar. I have an elderly widowed mother suffering from Dementia who was in great distress. I was trying to deal with her care situation remotely and spent in excess of 3 hours on the phone being passed from "pillar to post" by other NHS and social services agencies. Each agency made it very clear that they were not responsible and passed me the number of an alternative agency to call. Sometimes one i had already spoke to.

However, I finally made contact with Dr Sagar who was a breath of fresh air. He was kind, courteous, attentive and most importantly of all extremely responsive. Within a couple of hours my mother was seen and various medical tests performed. Once I was able to clarify her medical condition the other agencies began to fall in to line and clarify the support she needed.

I have no hesitation in recommending Dr Sagar of the Crown Street surgery in Acton and my thanks for his excellent service.
