Here is why...on the beginning of 19th Century it was a Visual Entertainment (Panorama).
It was purchased mid Century by Maris Fathers to serve the growing French community and converted to a Church.
So, the building is around 200years old but during the war was damaged quite badly. Rebuild and restored still serving it's community with masses in french and english alike.
Oh and there is a tapestry...and painting worth taking a look. So do pop in...it's worth the visit.
