  First things first, I did love the bread, the bread is great, probably the best locally.... Yet , after a number of experiences, all I have to say, in and around 'customer service', I have decided never to return. I have put up with waiting 20 mins or so to buy bread in the past, I have observed very poor hygiene practices and overlooked them, because I loved the roggebrood etc, but after this mornings experience, where I left in a huff having waited for 30 minutes for bread, the level of service takes the proverbial biscuit. Having read reviews it appears that I am not alone; Christopher writes a conciliatory response and nothing changes. Staff change but actually the same attitude pertains which makes me think that it is actually a question of management and it's attitude to the business it has... I was bought up in Italy where bread can be so/so but there is and always was a sense of professionalism which is completely lacking here. It pains me because I feel it's my loss, I will have to go elsewhere for inferior bread, but the levels of service have forced me to it. This from someone who has regularly visited since you opened.....

  We come here all the time and it's a great little place. It doesn't have an extensive menu, but the food is good, the bakery and the bread are great and the coffee good too.
