- caroline beck Review added: 2018.12.07★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆After nearly messing up my appointment they then kept me waiting at the start of my appointment and tried to hustle me out early telling me there were back to back appointments.
Half the dresses weren’t there, off on press shoots, and the ones I did like weren’t in a size I could try on. I was told that was my fault for not telling them in advance what I wanted to try on.
After asking several times to try something on I liked and not getting an answer, I was told that dress was “ not in the brief I had given them” - presumably the 5 min interview at the beginning when I was asked how many people were coming to my wedding.
Then something was said about 4-6 dresses per appointment - i had barely tried anything on because nothing was available for me to try in my size - I’m a 12!!
The staff were sniffy and snobby and frankly the dresses looked cheap and flimsy. Horrible experience. The shop is beautiful and from the moment I arrived the staff made me feel welcome and comfortable which hasn't been the case at other places. The layout makes it really easy to see the beautiful dresses clearly , they have plenty of space and the styles are unique and classic and they have a wonderful variety of looks so I could really get a feel for what I wanted. Would really recommend, thank you Charlie Brear !

The staff were AMAZING (we hugged after finding my dress), the atmosphere relaxed and laid-back (felt no pressure to buy, unlike a few of the other wedding dress shops I visited), and the dress fit like it was custom designed for me. I've never felt more beautiful in a dress and it oozes quality. I can not wait to spend my wedding day with my Charlie!
