  I booked an eyebrow shape here today via Treatwell- it was my first visit to this salon as there weren't many places in my area open on Easter Sunday. The reviews were good and the pictures of the salon looked decent.
  
  The staff were very confused when I arrived and didn't seem to have a record of my appointment. After confirming that it was an eyebrow wax I was after, I was sat down on a chair to begin my treatment. I was bit alarmed when they started using Lycon wax but she assured me that was what they used and that 'it's the best' - in my opinion far too thick for the eye area.
  
  The wax was really runny and to compensate the beautician kept placing more on top until the wax was well covering a large proportion of my eyelid. I asked her if she could do this another way, she told me the wax was too thin which was why it wasn't working properly. I then had to question her on why she thought it was sensible to use this wax near my eye when it wasn't good enough.
  
  She changed the wax with another pot and then begun on the second eyebrow, this was no better, spreading it again too thickly and really close to the eye. This time however, she decided to use scissors to tease the edge of the wax away from my skin. I stopped the appointment there.
  
  Won't be going back!
