    Watch out for these sharks!

Even though I had a direct debit set up to pay my full balance each month, on one occasion they added a transaction without including it in the direct debit, then charged me interest on the full balance because that one transaction hadn't been paid off.

I managed to get the interest returned over the phone, but they wouldn't acknowledge that there was any problem with their systems.

I complained in writing about a number of things including this, and they answered only the first point (with total non-information), while completely ignoring the direct debit issue.

Then I left a bad review on a website, prompting an automatic response asking me to call them. I did, and they promised to respond to the rest of the complaint in writing. Then they did absolutely nothing. When I followed up by phone, they told me it was their policy to ignore complaints linked in any way to an issue that they had already dismissed.

You can only complain by post, so they waste your money and time when they repeatedly fail to respond to complaints in this way.

I got out an Aqua Card to improve my credit rating before buying a house. They offered me a £200 limit which I stayed within and paid off each month. They then raised my limit to £600, and I spent £310. I was then told my limit had been reduced back to £200 and with £310 on my account I was now over my limit. They slapped on charges and fees and wouldn't explain why they had decreased my limit.
To be honest it just felt like a scam, rope you in, raise your limit and the second you spend some money reduce your limit and charge you for being over the limit!
I paid off all my charges and fees and closed the account, I would not recommend this company!! Go to a reputable bank like the Co-Op or Nationwide.
