Having lived here for a while, I know the onus is on the customer to acknowledge the service staff first if they desired service. Otherwise, staff will leave customer alone. Which is something I appreciate, more than hovering sales people. As I was hoping for assistance, I attempted to make eye contact with a group of sales staff chatting by the door but was ignored. Proceeded to browse and test out the lip colour selection (I totally intended to make a purchase) but after 5min was still ignored despite trying to catch the eye of a staff. Finally managed to get the attention of one of the sales staff who was walking by me to ask the price; she barely glanced at me before telling me the price (24.99) and walking away. No-one was serving other customers, except one staff. No-one else bothered to ask if I needed anything so I decided to leave. No point dropping 25quid on a tube of lipstick, helping to pay the salaries of sales people who are more interested in chatting amongst themselves. Many other skincare and make-up shops in Covent Garden with much better service.
